The 22-year-old Canadian-Armenian soprano, Gayané Mangassarian, is a recent graduate of the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Science.

In addition to being a biology specialist, she has excelled in the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in piano.

She became acquainted with Maestro David Varjabed during her second year at university and began her vocal studies with him soon after.

Gayané has been a member of the Opera Belcanto of South Simcoe choir for the past two years.

Ms. Mangassarian is currently pursuing degrees in Education, and she is preparing for the ARCT exam.
